Blanes lies about 25 miles from the airport at Gerona and is the most southerly resort on the Costa Brava. The rocky coastline and marina lead down to the main beach which is nice and sandy, and has numerous water sports on offer for you to try. All types of accommodation are available here from simple camp sites to good class hotels and apartment blocks. In the south, the modern and more recent development has a great variety of shops to cater for all of your holiday needs, and a good selection of bars and discos, as well as the entertainment provided by he hotels, this resort has something to cater for all tastes.
