Description
Altea is situated about 50km from Alicante, and is one of the least exploited and overdeveloped towns on the Costa Blanca. Daily life here remains uninterupted by tourists. It's long jetty and attractive walk way front a picturesque stretch of shoreline and pebbly beaches. Down at the seafront there is no shortage of seafood restaurants serving mainly local rice based dishes such as 'paella' and some bars and stylish cafes.
