Akrotiri is home to Zorba the Greek. and it's an ideal destination for families. The beautiful sandy beaches and shallow rocky creeks are just waiting to be explored. Akrotiri would not be a choice for young people hoping to party every night, but for couples and families it would be a very good holiday destination. The resort is centred on a few tavernas which serve simple food, and although simple, the food is delicious.
