Emerald Cruise |
| Many tour operators now give people the opportunity to visit numerous mediterranean destinations in one single holiday, via a cruise. There are a wide choice of different itineraries to choose from, some of the more popular include Palma(Majorca), Barcelona(Spain), Naples(Italy), Valletta(Malta) or Mahon(Menorca). Usually most of the sailing is done during the night leaving the days free to explore new places or just laze on the ship. On most of these cruises food is normally included, (sometimes about 7 meals a day), but drinks are usually extra with the bill being settled at the end of the cruise. Entertainment on the cruise ship is normally included, and you will often find a casino on board. Where cruising was once solely the preserve of the wealthy, this type of cruise has become affordable to the package holidaymaker, whilst still maintaining generally high standards. | |
