Ireon is a traditional seaside resort on the South coast of Samos. It has three supermarkets, rent-a-bike or rent-a-car agents�, souvenir-shops, bars and restaurants. The greenery rolls down to the sea, giving way to the clear unpolluted Aegean blue. Visitors have a choice between secluded beaches for a romantic undisturbed t�te-�-t�te, or more cosmopolitan ones with sun beds, umbrellas, skiing and jet skiing. The scenery is further enhanced by the traditional fishing boats and the friendly local fishermen, some of whom will offer the visitor a ride to the nearby island of Samiopoula. In the evenings there are plenty of bars and restaurants along the sea front where there is plenty of entertainment for people of all ages.
