White Sands Beach Club (Watch a video)

Situated on the northern coast of Menorca the resort of Arenal d`en Castell is particularly popular with families with young children. The main attraction being its sweeping horseshoe shaped beach with the pleasant back drop of the fragrantly smelling pine woodland. The warm shallow waters being especially inviting for families and are home to a number of water sport activities. The resort is located in the rugged northern part of the island and as a result is quite hilly, this may cause a problem to those with mobility problems. To alleviate this the resort has a mini train which makes getting about the resort a bit easier. The resort is also serviced by a bus service which you could take to the capital of Mahon or to the nearby fishing village of Fornells. There are a number of bars, cafes and restaurants within the resort but generally the night life is low key. The majority of the evening entertainment being provided by the larger hotels. For those on self catering holidays there are a number of small supermarkets within the resort. Airport transfer time is approximately 20- 40 minutes.
