Westin Fort Lauderdale

On Florida's famous Gold Coast, half way between Palm Beach and Miami, lies Fort Lauderdale a 3 hour drive from Orlando. Often described as the Venice of America because of its 300 miles of waterways, water taxis and thousands of yachts. Fort Lauderdale now has a pedestrianised beach front, over 20 miles of white sandy beaches and is warm and sunny all year round. There are reputed to be over 70 golf courses in the area and over 2000 restaurants offering almost any type of cuisine imaginable. Popular excursions with tourists include airboat rides over the Everglades and day cruises to the Bahamas.
