Viva Holiday Village is a fabulous hotel in Can Picafort, an ideal resort for families and couples wanting a relaxing getaway. The resort follows the coast for over 2km with the main tourist centre arranged in a series of narrow streets behind the beach. A pedestrian promenade backs the beach and offers a wide selection of restaurants and cafes. There is no nightlife to speak of - mainly shows organised by the hotels. Can Picafort is only 9km or so from Puerto Alcuida where there is a traditional and picturesque old town, water park and bustling port. There are good bus connections to Pollensa, Palma and Alcudia. Can Picafort is located in the Northeast of Majorca, 60km from Palma airport. Rooms at the Viva Holiday Village have a telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, heating, safe, music channels, complete bathroom with hair dryer, terrace or balcony with inland view and the apartments have a kitchenette with a fridge. Facilities at the Viva Holiday Village include an Outdoor swimming pool, indoor swimming pool, sunbeds, parasols, supermarket, gift shop, 24 hour Reception, table tennis, pool table, archary, shooting range, volleyball, darts, bicycle hire, jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. Perfect for families with lovely grounds and plenty for all to do all day and night.

This holiday village which we went to following a cruise on the Island Escape which we thoroughly enjoyed and were very spoiled, followed by a week at the holiday village. It is only suitable for families and it should say this in the brochure.
