An attractive and homely villa located in a small residential area close to the attractions of Porto Vecchio; the nearest beach is only 1km away. However, 8km away, the famous sandy beach of Saint-Cyprien is well worth a visit. The ample pool is set in mature gardens and benefits from mountain views over the surrounding countryside. Whether youre breakfasting round the kitchen table or eating al fresco at the table beside the pool, youll find the facilities here will help you make the most of your holiday. Local specialities include celebrated hams such as salsiccia and prizuttu, which are delicious when accompanied by a glass of Corsican wine. If you want to head further into the interior, Villa Virginie is a short drive from many interesting spots, including Levie, which boasts several prehistoric sites and one of the main archaeological museums in Corsica. Or you could take the pleasant walk that takes in the ruins of archaic Cucuruzzu and Capula, with its medieval castle and ancient church. | |
