Villa

Alicante is the Valencia region's second largest town. Lying on the eastern coast of Spain it has it all: parties, discos, festivals castles - and if that isn't enough, hot sun, white sand beaches, and a turquoise sea. It's beach front has an elegant boulevard stretching around the harbour, shaded with palm trees, and lined with shops and cafes. It is a city steeped in history, rich in culture and awash with every kind of shop and restaurant imaginable

We had a nice break away despite the occasional drop of rain. When it was sunny it was very warm and there was plenty to see & do. Recommended but preferably in summertime.See the full report
