The golden gate Bridge is one of the most visited attractions in San Francisco and walking across the bridge, under the towers that emerge 65 story’s above the water is one of the great ways to explore the hugeness of the construction and affords scenic views of the city's skylines, the bays and its islands. There are many other attractions to see in San Francisco like Golden Gate Park, North Beach, the Cable cars and Fisherman’s Wharf. There is also Alcatraz which is a very popular attraction because it’s the notorious escape-proof island with its dreaded maximum-security prison with sheer cliffs surrounded by the icy waters of the San Francisco Bay, known for its treacherous tides and currents, it was regarded as the perfect place to detain the country’s most-wanted and dangerous criminals who were isolated in dark solitary confinement cells. | |
