Valletta G-House

Valletta lies about 7 miles from the airport and is the islands capital. Built in 1556, there's a wealth of history to see here, with various cultural sites as well as a commercial centre. Good standard hotels with the larger ones lying on the outskirts, offer the majority of accommodation you will find here, but there's no beach, so swimming is restricted to the hotels. Plenty of shops to cater for all your holiday needs, and even a Marks and Spencers, ensure there's enough to keep you going throughout the day, but the nights can be very quiet.
