Excellent value for money. The beach is very long and clean - excellent for children. If you want additional entertainment you either have to drive to them, or during the holiday season a Haven Holdiays site is very close.See the full report

The present Trefusis family home, of which Little Trefusis is a completely self-contained ground floor apartment, was built in 1890, but the family have lived here since the 12th Century. Guests have their own small enclosed garden but are welcome to explore the surrounding eight acres of landscaped grounds and to walk down through the nearby wood to the beach, only 400 yards away (see photograph). The private road to Trefusis is close to Mylor Harbour, with its busy marina, sailing school and watersports centre (there is hard-standing at the cottage for a dinghy or boat trailer if required). There is a splendid circular walk from the beach around the headland, and Truro and Falmouth are both within easy driving distance. The apartment has accommodation on one level, with a well-equipped kitchen-area with an oil-fired Aga (the main cooking appliance although a microwave is also provided). The open plan living-room has comfortable sofas, well stocked bookshelves and French windows leading into the garden, bordered on one side by the Owners’ conservatory. The main bedroom is very spacious with its own wash-basin, and the bunk-room is cheerfully decorated in yellow and white. | |
