We had several major issues with this hotel but these were resolved by mutual agreement. The Slipway Hotel is really a restaurant with rooms and those rooms could do with some TLC.

The Slipway Hotel date backs to 1527. It was a ship's chandlery in the 19th century selling all types of ship supplies and provisions out of what is now the two tiered restaurant. The Slipway was converted into a hotel in the mid twentieth century and has been gradually upgraded into its present state. Port Isaac is an excellent base for a holiday in Cornwall. Nothing is far away. Fantastic beaches, rolling surf, the coastal path, great golf courses and many stunning attractions all within easy driving distance. Rooms at the Slipway Hotel have a bathroom and WC, soaps and shower gels sourced specifically for the Hotel from St kitts Herbery, central heating, colour television, direct dial telephones, kettles with a selection of tea and coffee and a lounge over looking the quay with panoramic views of the beach and harbour. For weddings, the Slipway Hotel can supply a preferred list of local suppliers for flowers, wedding cakes, hairdressing etc, and wedding ceremonies may be held in a number of different locations around the hotel, including in the 2 tiered restaurant (suitable for up to 45 persons) and in the Lifeboat Suite, (suitable for up to 20 people) which overlooks the fishing harbour.
