Just spent a lovely week in the tenerife playa. Hotel is beautiful, very clean and rooms spacious. food choice was very good.

The four star Tenerife Playa Hotel is in the Puerto de La Cruz resort, in front of the famous Lago Martianez swimming pools and 50 meters from Martianez beach. A ten- storey-high modern building, the hotel has 339 guestrooms, decorated in a bright modern style, with balconies with views out on to the swimming pool or sea. All have satellite television, hair dryers, air conditioning, minibars, direct dial phones and safes. There are sunbathing terraces and a poolside bar at the curving double pool, two entertainment shows a week on the 6th and 10th floors, and live music six nights a week. The poolside bar offers snacks as well as drinks, while a separate buffet-style restaurant offers a range of European hot and cold dishes. The hotel also boasts a spa, sauna, pool table and its own nightclub. There are public internet facilities (charge), a library and a full range of concierge services. The nearest airport, Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Los Rodeos), is 24 kilometers and a twenty minute drive away; it is also possible to take a bus. | |
