Sitting in gorgeous grounds with nodding palms and whispering trees, the Talayot is serious eye-candy. At the heart of all Cala Millors action, this contemporary hotel overlooks the pretty promenade and twinkling turquoise seas. And the bustling bars, shops and restaurants are just a stones throw away, too. When you want to escape the lively streets though, this is the perfect place to retreat. If you need to cool off, the crystal-clear pool is the place to head. A delightfully tranquil spot its surrounded by swishing greenery and plenty of sun beds to recline back on. If you want to escape from the midday sun though, step inside to the cool oasis of the indoor pool. Decorated in pretty mosaic-style tiles and with a whirlpool bath, you can really shake off lifes everyday stresses in here. Fancy doing something a little more lively? Grab a cue and have a game of pool. Join in the afternoon activities with the entertainments team. Or take a stroll along the shimmering shores, stopping off for a coffee at one of the beachfront cafes. Once you worked up an appetite, head for the hotels inviting restaurant and tuck into a slap up meal. Itll be hard to not overdose on the calories here though with all the delicious cuisine on offer. With everything you could want for a summer escape, the Talayot has it all. A word of warning though – once youve been, youll most definitely want to come back. | |
