Stegna Star

Stegna is 29Km from Rhodes City. The village has two atmospheres, on one side of the village you will find peace and quiet and a family atmosphere, whilst on the other side of the village there is a private beach for guests of the one and only hotel, which is occupied mainly by groups from Germany. The beach is located just 500 meters along the road from Archangelos, and is the ideal bathing place for the local villagers. These make up most of the bathers on the beach, along with the visitors staying at the hotel. This is an ideal location for those seeking relaxation, sand, pebbles, water sports, and quite a few local taverns.

The hotel was ok but the resort was too quiet, with only one bus in the morning (public transport)and one bus in the early evening (Public transport) with the exception of the so called free bus, which used to charge 3.00 euro"s each at 10 30 each d...See the full report
