| Albufeira lies about 26 miles from the airport and is the largest resort in the Algarve. Still a working fishing village, it has several sandy beaches offering a great variety of water sports with Albufeira and Praia de Oura being the biggest. A good selection of hotel and apartment blocks can be found here, while the supermarkets and souvenir shops ensure all your holiday needs will be catered for. A gypsy market , once a fortnight and a large waterpark just outside the centre, provide a decent break away from the beaches, and the night brings a huge amount of bars, pubs and discos to life. | |

Excellent Holiday, The apartments are brand new, they had only just opened,
so everything was new, We had a one bedroom, and there was a large twin bedded
