The Hotel Sol Milanos Pinguinos is a family-friendly hotel set on the longest beach in Menorca, five kilometres from Alaior and 20 kilometres from Mahon. This 11-floor hotel features 597 air-conditioned guestrooms decorated in light cream, beige and brown tones with modern light wood furnishings. All guestrooms open onto furnished balconies and include televisions, telephones, safes, minibars, and bathrooms with hair dryers. Sun-worshippers can bronze by the large pool whilst enjoying refreshing drinks from the poolside bar. Kids can enjoy a full entertainment programme with special clubs for different age groups ranging from four years up to 17. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes served buffet style at the Restaurant Milanos, or visit Bettys Kitchen Restaurant, a family restaurant decorated using motifs from the Flintstones cartoon. The hotel also has a coffee shop, pizzeria and a lounge bar, where daily live entertainment shows are on offer. Guests can enjoy tennis or football, or visit the games room, which has table tennis and video games. Facilities also include archery and rifle shooting, and scooters can be hired from reception. At weekends guests receive a 20 percent discount on green fees at the Son Parc 9-hole golf course. Visitors can travel to the town of Alaior, five kilometres away, or the capital city of Mahon, 20 kilometres away. Menorca Airport is 20 kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes. | |
