Sofianna is at the very heart of Kato Paphos where all the action is, yet situated in a secluded corner. The hotel offers self-catering accommodation in spacious studios (for 2 persons), one-bedroom apartments (for 2 to 4 persons) and two-bedroom apartments (for 4 to 6 persons). Many of the apartments have been totally refurbished, whereas the rest have been upgraded and improved. All apartments are well-equipped and the hotel offers easy access for pushchairs and wheel chairs and facilities for the disabled, including one specially designed two-bedroom apartment. The hotel’s reception area has been completely refurbished, blending tradition with the twenty first century, with bold lines and vivid colors. The large open-air swimming pool has been extended, to cover more than 400 square meters of fun, and has been fitted with waterfalls, a water curtain, umbrella and other water games. There is even an open-air Jacuzzi accessible from the pool for those who wish to relax in style. The kiddies’ pool has become bigger, where little pirates can sail the seven seas for hours. The indoor heated swimming pool can be experienced all-year round with an indoor Jacuzzi and a sauna, while those who wish to exercise, can do so at the gym. For those who prefer to relax outside, a traditional yard with citrus trees and other plants can be explored at their leisure. A new addition is probably one of the children’s play area. Numerous small and big toys are installed in a field of approximately 2.000 square meters, catering for all ages between 2 and 13 years. Climbing, sliding, balancing, rocking, swinging, playing in the sand, pretending and many other fun activities can be enjoyed. For older children there is a volleyball net and a basketball area for practicing their skills. Other facilities include a pool bar, offering many local and other popular dishes during the day, a lounge bar which offers snacks during the evening, a pub (George & Dragon), video games, internet access, 24 hour reception service and many other opportunities for an enjoyable and relaxing stay.
