The Sissi Bay hotel is situated in Sissi, a small traditional fishing village, 40 Km east of Heraklion international airport. It is built directly on the shore, overlooking the clear blue Aegean sea. The Sissi Bay is a holiday complex with a quiet relaxing atmosphere, only 300 m away from the closest beach. The hotel consists of double/twin rooms (mostly double), triple rooms and family suites (accommodating up to five persons). All rooms at the Sissi Bay are beautifully decorated and equipped with comfortable furniture, as well as satellite TV, international music channels, direct dial telephone (plus in-house communication), refrigerator, hair dryer, black out curtains, and bath/shower. There is also personally controlled air conditioning and safety deposit boxes available inside all rooms with an extra charge. I would advise anyone with young children considering the Sissi Bay Hotel for a holiday to re-consider. This is not a hotel for them, our daughter is 16 months and could not eat the food, there was nothing for her to do and we couldn"t even leave her...See the full report
