The hotel is situated in Sissi, a small traditional fishing village, 40 Km east of Heraklion international airport. It is built directly on the shore, overlooking the clear blue Aegean sea. The Sissi Bay is a holiday complex with a quiet relaxing atmosphere, only 300 m away from the closest beach. The hotel consists of double/twin rooms (mostly double), triple rooms and family suites (accommodating up to five persons). All rooms are beautifully decorated and equipped with comfortable furniture, as well as satellite TV, international music channels, direct dial telephone (plus in-house communication), refrigerator, hair dryer, black out curtains, and bath/shower. There is also personally controlled air conditioning and safety deposit boxes available inside all rooms with an extra charge. Was a bit worried after booking and reading some reviews, but need not have been concerned. The hotel was a good standard 3* I would say in uk, staff briliant, superb food even all/inc. especially breakfast and the b.b.q.
