Villa Serena is a picturesque villa in a quiet residential area, ideally suited to guests who appreciate their freedom and independence without being isolated. Close to some of the best beaches in the Porto Vecchio region and a short drive from the nightlife, restaurants and brasseries of Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio. The charming living area has a relaxed, rustic feel, while the well-equipped kitchen may well inspire budding chefs to try some classic French recipes. For evenings dining out with a glass of red wine as the Mediterranean sun sets visit one of the local restaurants in the main square in Porto Vecchio, or alongside the marina in Bonifacio, about fifteen kilometres away. Bonifacio also boasts some incredible chalk and limestone cliffs, with magnificent views along the coastline to the southernmost point of the island, a mere twelve kilometres from neighbouring Sardinia. The town itself is dominated by the 16th-century bastion, and behind this youll find the old town, the heart of Bonifacio, with its seven hundred year old cathedral, narrow winding streets and fascinating history. | |
