| Alcudia is on the north coast about 35 miles from the airport at Palma, with it's own busy port, there are a huge amount of hotel and apartments available, in over three miles of flat front area. An excellent beach of fine sand stretching for 9 miles, is the largest on the island. You can enjoy the boat trips and various water sports on offer here, and there is also tennis, squash and a waterpark for the more active. A market on Tuesday and Sunday mornings gives the shoppers amongst you the chance to purchase the local handicrafts, while the supermarkets, boutiques and gift shops around the resort will ensure that all of your holiday needs are satisfied. The night life tends to be provided by the main hotels, but there are plenty of bars, and several discos in the centre. |
