Royal Meridian

Dubai is the second largest of the Emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, possessing excellent beaches, all year round sunshine and very little rainfall. There are outstanding sporting facilities in Dubai, including powerboat racing, water-skiing, snorkelling and golf courses. Many visitors come to Dubai for the top class horse racing, the Dubai World Cup is actually the world's richest horse racing event . Dubai is cosmopolitan and lively, with some of the finest hotels in the world. It has some of the world's best duty free shopping facilities, ranging from Western-style shops to the ancient souks where spices, perfume, clothing, antiques, handicrafts and jewels are available. Gold is a particularly popular and relatively inexpensive. One of the most popular attractions is the Jumeira Mosque where non-Muslims are allowed to enter on organised trips. The flying time from the UK is approximately 7 hours.
