The hotel is in a rural location away from the main tourist areas and two thirds of a mile from the nearest shops and restaurants, a mile from the resort centre and one and a half miles from the beach. Calangute itself has good shopping and a wide sandy beach. The local markets have a bustling atmosphere where you can haggle for local silk, spices, fruit and vegetable`s, souvenirs, jewellery, carpets and carvings. The Hotel has 140 rooms spread across 4 floors and offers a courtesy shuttle service to Calangute beach which is nearly 4 miles long. There are good local water sports and even a chance to go dolphin watching. In the centre of the town is a Tibetan market and it is only 10 miles to the capital of Panajim. | |
