The Residence La Paix Hotel Tunisia was ideal for us - I wanted to be fairly close to a decent golf course and my partner wanted to be close to the beach. We were both satisfied on that score. Nice pool area, relaxed atmosphere in hotel.

A nice hotel with lovely garden, friendly staff (mostly english speaking). The cleaning woman placed flowers on the bed almost every day, quite nice. Short walk to the hotel owned beach, with free sunchairs and a cozy little snackbar. The Medina in H...See the full report

The Residence La Paix is a small hotel situated in its own gardens close to Bay of Hammamet. The resort is good for shopping in the markets or an ideal base for a relaxing beach holiday. The hotel offers basic, comfortable accommodation in a quiet, relaxed environment and is located close to the coast with a walk of about 200 metres to the sandy beach. The resort of Hammamet has a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops. Also worth a visit, is the walled Medina with its winding alley ways filled with street vendors ready to sell you a bargain.
