St Lucia, the second largest of the Windward Islands, is a Caribbean paradise surrounded by clear warm seas. It is one of the most beautiful and picturesque islands in the Caribbean noted for its sandy bays and tiny coves. There are many excellent hotel complexes situated right on the stunning beaches, most offering all inclusive options, including two by the Sandals group. St Lucia also has a great variety of plant and animal life with lush, tropical mountains and valleys of banana plantations. The capital of St Lucia is Castries.
