| Poland has a population of about 40million people. In the north of Poland the Baltic Coast has over 300 miles of dunes, bays and sandy beaches. The north of Poland also has many lakes, rivers and canals, of particular interest is the Mazurian Lake District in the north east. Stretching down from Gdansk on the Baltic Coast to Warsaw, the capital of Poland, is the River Vistula. Warsaw was completely rebuilt after the second World War, part of it (the Old Town) using original plans. Krakow, in the South of Poland, is also popular with tourists and has a largely medieval atmosphere. | |

Visited Lodz on business.
The Qubus hotel has only just opened, and is designed for the business traveller. The rooms are of a good standard with good beds. My room had facility for internet connection etc. The bathrooms are also good in the rooms....See the full report
