Pueblo Andaluz

Marbella is set on a very busy main road 35 miles from the airport at Malaga. A playground for the rich and famous, the area has several golf and tennis courses set near to some of the best fashion boutiques in Spain. Spread over a 10 mile area there are lots of private villas for rent, good quality hotels and luxury apartments. The main beach in the resort is often very crowded, but on the plus side with another 20 to choose from you'll always find somewhere quiet. Daytime, when not spent golfing or on the beach, allows you to part with your hard earned cash in some of the most expensive shops in Spain, while at night, the cafe bars around the marina give you a chance of spotting the latest star to moor their yacht and head off to the local casino. It is not impossible to find a reasonable priced drink, but be prepared to walk a lot to find it.
