Laganas is only 3 miles from the airport and is the most popular resort on the island. A massive amount of self-catering apartments and some decent hotels can be found here as the fantastic 5 mile long stretch of beach is probably the best you will find in the area. With lots of water sports to offer, and a vast number of tourist shops, there's always plenty to do during the day. This is, however, a place to come to for the young, free and single, as it's at night the numerous bars, discos and tavernas spring into life. | |

WELL POSITIONED OUT OF THE WAY NICE AND QUITE AT NIGHT, 2-3 MILE WALK TO CENTRE OF BARS ETC. IF YOU LIKE WALKING OK CAN BE HOT WORK. TAXI COST 5 EUROS ONE WAY.
