Beautiful location within mountains. Good ski facilities with easy and difficult runs. Good atmosphere in ski village and plenty to do otherwise (eg skating, shopping)WOuld return.See the full report

| The Meribel ski area is part of the Trois Vallees ski domain..with over 600km of fantastic skiing and snowboarding. The Meribel tourist now has a choice of 16 restaurants ranging from basic pizzas, to Savoyard specialties and fabulous 5 course gourmet dinners. The main Meribel tourist area has some of the liveliest bars in the Alps, with a choice of 10 in Meribel Town so after that superb dinner you can enjoy a drink in a bar with live entertainment before you scurry off to bed to get some sleep before you hit the slopes again the next day. Meribel has 36 shops, apart from ski and snowboard shops. These include all the latest fashion, photos, food, wine, local produce & hairdressers. Snow-biking, Para Ponte, snowshoe walks, 10 pin bowling. The Meribel sports area has a swimming pool, climbing wall, and ice rink. 2007.8 will finally bring a gym facility too. So if you get tired of skiing and snow boarding why not enjoy some of the many other activities you can do there. | |
