| Kardamena lies on the south coast about 5 miles from the airport, and was once a fishing village that has now been turned into a lively and vibrant holiday resort. With a mixture of budget and 4 star hotels on offer, there are enough supermarkets and souvenir shops to meet all of your holiday needs. The beach is large and sandy and houses a large variety of water sports but can become quite crowded in the height of season. Aimed mainly at the youth market, there are a huge amount of bars and a couple of discos in the centre that become very noisy as the night goes by. | |

Just got back from Kos. We stayed in room 14 which is a a bottom apartment at the front of the building. Wasnt the best place ive stayed, didnt have a shower hook so had to hold the shower whilst we had one.
