The Panorama Apartments are are well located near Fiskardo and perfect for families. All of the apartments and studios have balconies or terraces with views of the sea or garden and there is a swimming pool surrounded by trees and flowers. Emblisi is the closest beach to Fiskardo, only 15 minutes walk from the apartments, the beach is mainly shingle and is ideal for snorkeling. All the Panorama Apartments have a basic kitchen so should you not want to take the ten minute walk to the harbour, with its variety of tavernas and restaurants, you can cook dinner at your own leisure. Next door is the Almyra where guests can use the bar and restaurant, if your idea of a holiday is to avoid the kitchen altogether. Fiskardo is a colourful little port on the north east tip of Kefalonia and the only village to have survived the 1953 earthquake almost unscathed, so the architectural influence of the Venetians is still obvious. The sheltered bays look towards the mountainous coastline of Ithaca. Daily ferries from Fiskardo visit the small port of Frikes in Ithaca and Vassiliki in Lefkas. Secluded beaches and coves, surrounded by cypress and olive trees can be found on either side of Fiskardo bay, and, from the port you can hire your own little motor boat to reach them. | |

Unless you get one of the upper floor units this accomodation is very poor. Our view from Unit 5 was a comcrete wall and next to our outdoor seating area was a small window into the unit to the front"s toilet.

We love this place and have just booked for a third time. However I agree with the previous opinion they do need to do some maintenance - shower head falling off, fridge door handle broken (which I had to fix as no-one came to sort it)

Beware - all the brochure and publicity material, and the name itself, suggests great views from the accommodation. However, only two of the 10 apartments have balconies at the front of the building - several (like ours) are tucked away at the sides ...See the full report
