Side lies about 50 miles from the airport and is a place of great archaeological interest. The beaches are small, sandy but quite large in places and have a limited amount of water sports for you to try. Accommodation tends to be more budget based, although there's a good variety of hotel and apartments to choose from. Shopping is an experience, as the locals can hassle you as you browse around ,but the evening brings numerous bars and discos to life in the old town, with the hotels providing some shows and cabaret.
