Palatino Hotel & Studios

Lixouri lies about 25 miles from the airport, with a few hotels and some self catering apartments. It was almost destroyed by the 1953 earthquake, and although the town is now quite modern there are not many shops to be found here. With a small shingle beach offering no water sports, most of your time will be spent visiting other resorts by car. The same applies if you are looking for something to do at night, as apart from the odd taverna, this is a very quiet resort.
