The best hotel i have stayed at. Split level spacious room good balcony.
Really good choice of food, very very quiet at night time for a good nights sleep, entertainment poor as hotel is mainly for scandanavians, but well set out.

We visited the hotel on an all inclusive basis from 28th June until 12th July. Our party included 2 children age 1 and 3 and 6 adults aged 18, 19, 32, 33, 37 and 63.

Be warned there are major building works currently going on at this hotel for 10 hours a day - Thankfully we are moving to another hotel tomorrow.

The Orquidea was a very nice hotel and we have a great week at the end of February 2007 with temperatures well in the 70F"s. Plus points were the excellent guest rooms with satellite TV and free fridge, nice heated pool, very reasonable bar prices I....See the full report
