There are outstanding sporting facilities in Dubai, including powerboat racing, water-skiing, snorkelling and golf courses. Many visitors come to Dubai for the top class horse racing, the Dubai World Cup is actually the world's richest horse racing event . Dubai is cosmopolitan and lively, with some of the finest hotels in the world. It has some of the world's best duty free shopping facilities, ranging from Western-style shops to the ancient souks where spices, perfume, clothing, antiques, handicrafts and jewels are available. Gold is a particularly popular and relatively inexpensive. One of the most popular attractions is the Jumeira Mosque where non-Muslims are allowed to enter on organised trips.
