It has some of the world's best duty free shopping facilities, ranging from Western-style shops to the ancient souks where spices, perfume, clothing, antiques, handicrafts and jewels are available. Gold is a particularly popular and relatively inexpensive. One of the most popular attractions is the Jumeira Mosque where non-Muslims are allowed to enter on organised trips. The flying time from the UK is approximately 7 hours.
