Opened in 1940s, it was the first beach hotel to pick a spot on this coastline and the addition of mod cons doesnt detract from the original colonial charm. Just a few steps from the pool terrace, the Indian Ocean gently caresses the shore. The sun filters through palm fronds, dappling your skin with pure gold. And in the distance chattering monkeys play in the Treetops as a friendly waiter delivers your drinks right to your sunbed. You wont have to lift a finger when you stay here. Even the entertainment is laid back.
