We stayed for 2 weeks June/July 07. Apartments were very hot at night, no air con. or fans. No-one at the accommodation to ask for help. Maid came every other day and spent most of the time on her mobile instead of cleaning.

Paleocastritsa is only 16 miles from the airport, and has a harbour with yachts from all over the world berthed there. An upmarket resort hence the yachts, there are plenty of high class hotels on offer, while the shingle beach falls to a deep sea front making it unsuitable for children to swim in. Some good supermarkets and boutiques are available in the resort, and there's lots of discos and bars to keep you entertained throughout the night. | |
