The swimming pool with its cascading waterfall provides the centrepiece for this delightful hotel. During the day you can relax on the terraces, soaking up the Mediterranean sunshine or cool off in one of the two pools. In the evening unwind with a cocktail from the bar or enjoy a stroll into the resort centre for a night out. Location is only 50m away from the beach (accessed by subway), and 25m from a sports centre, where you can enjoy activities such as mini golf, tennis and squash. There is a variety of nightlife, shops and restaurants 1km away. | |

We stayed at the Monteplaya with our children aged form 10 to 15, If you are under 70 do NOT go there, the children were shouted at all the time by the grumpy staff, No childrens entertainment all week except for 20 minute parrot show. There was bing...See the full report

This was my first experience of a holiday alone abroad and it was very good.
The Monteplaya was clean, the staff helpful. Sadly the food wasn"t very hot and there wasn"t much variety. The only drawback was that my room was at the front of the hotel....See the full report

Excellent 2 weeks in a spotless hotel. Good selection of local bars / restaurants for those who wish to eat out. Would recommend Black Bull for friendliness. Food in hotel was also very good in evenings, we didn"t bother in the mornings.

Clean, comfortable fairly quiet, breakfast rather unsatisfactory, garlic in the scrambled eggs for example,and inedible little sausages.evening meals fairly good some evidence of food kept overnight and served again the next day.
