Hotel Metaxa has recently been refurbished and is ideally situated, just a few minutes walk from the long sandy beach of Kalamaki, this family run hotel provides a homely and friendly atmosphere. Landscaped gardens incorporate a shaded terrace overlooking pool area where a daily breakfast is served and a childrens playground. Hotel Metaxa is an excellent choice both for families and couples who are seeking a relaxed holiday by the clearest swimming pool close to the beach and with easy access to nightlife of Zakynthos. The complex is 550m to Kalamaki's sandy beach and turtle nesting ground, 300m to Kalamaki's main central road and 500m to nearest bars and restaurants. Rooms at the Metaxa hotel have twin or double beds, bathroom, WC, shower, TV, individually controlled air conditioning and balcony or terrace. Facilities at the Metaxa hotel include a comfortable lounge with satellite TV and bar open out to a large swimming pool, childrens splash pool, sun beds, parasols, childrens play ground, massage, currency exchange facilities, safety deposit boxes, car rental, bicycle rental and laundry a BBQ and limited entertainment with a live act once a week.
