The well maintained Mediterraneo Hotel is a modern hotel complex situated on an elevated side road that overlooks the beach in Hersonissos. The many bars, restaurants, tavernas and shops of the resort are only 1.2km from the hotel itself. There are several small sand/shingle beaches within a 20 minute walk from the hotel itself. Access to taxis and buses is a 10-15 minute walk away and there is a regular service to the resort of Heraklion.
