What strikes you on first reaching the Marina di Cavu is the panoramic view taking in the crystal clear waters of this part of southern Corsica and the exclusive islands of Cavallo and Lavezzi. The charming rooms and suites are named after Corsican islands, villages or local trades, each individually designed to give you a distinctive stay in this wonderful location. The hotels gastronomic restaurant was classed as bonne table by Alain Ducasse in the Guide des Chateaux et Hotels de France. In addition to the delectable cuisine the restaurant itself is of an authentic decor nestling amongst the granite rocks Corsica is so famous for, although on balmy evenings you may prefer to enjoy your meal by the pool. Breakfast is a private affair and is served in your room so you can watch the early morning sun on the waters of the Bouches de Bonifacio. During meal times, the hotel provides a babysitting service so you can enjoy the feasts that the hotels chef conjures up without being disturbed by your little ones. Amongst the delights offered to those holidaying in the Bonifacio area are a day on the 18-hole Robert Trent-Jones designed golf course at Sperone, for which the Marina di Cavu offers reduced rates, a day out on a fishing boat, horse-riding, scuba-diving and tennis, plus the full range of watersports activities offered at Piantarella beach just a couple of kilometres from Marina di Cavu.
