The local amenities include, restaurants, shops, beach, sailing, fishing, mountains, diving to mention but a few.The town of Puerto de Mogan has always been a fishing village as can be seen in the local harbour. Recently there have been development of apartments and a 5* hotel built on the beach side of the town, such as Los Mangueros which not only have strict planning control, but also are designed to keep the resort town exclusive. First time in Gran Canaria. Puerto Mogan lovely resort. Lots of visitors come in during the day and the beach facilities are excellent. At night things REALLY quieten down though and we found it far too quiet for our liking, although extremely safe....See the full report
