La Bastide du Soleil

Cannes islocated just to the south west of Nice. If you have a large vehicle with a roofbox, you may find it difficult to park in the peak season, as there is a height limit on most of the car parks. A popular seaside town with splendid sandy beaches and long promenades with impressive boats to be seen in the exclusive harbourside moorings.Take a stroll through Le Suquet, the old town. Avoid the town when the annual film festival is being held - prices rocket and the place becomes incredibly crowded.For the children: A detour to the local town of Grasse to see exclusive perfume being made makes an interesting alternative to the beach! Also a boat trip to the Lerins islands is very enjoyable and fun for the kids.
