Kallithea Studios - 2 Star

Elounda lies about 40 miles from the airport at Heraklion and was once a small fishing village. It has some of the best hotels you will find anywhere in the Greek islands, as well as a reasonable amount of self-catering blocks. A couple of small but sandy beaches can be found here, with good clean water that houses a variety of different water sports. Plenty of decent shops, with the more expensive situated in the hotels, ensure there's lots to choose from when making your vital holiday purchases, and as the night draws in, there are an abundance of discos, bars and local tavernas to keep you going throughout the evening.
