Stoupa lies about 30 miles from the airport on the southern part of the Peloponnese region. A lot less commercialised than some parts of Greece, it still maintains an authentic Greek atmosphere, and this is it's great attraction. The majority of accommodation is made up of small apartment blocks, with the odd small hotel. Three beaches are made up of gritty type sand, and are home to various daytime activities, including pedaloes and banana boat rides. Shopping is quite limited, with only the odd supermarket and a few gift shops to cater for all your holiday needs. Some small bars and tavernas, that shut only when you want to leave, are all that's available at night.
