British Columbia has some excellent skiing resorts including Fernie and Kimberley. Both resorts are excellent for all levels of skier as well as offering some excellent scenery. Kimberley is the newer resort and has a Bavarian themed area, however both resorts have a good choice of restaurants and friendly bars to choose from. In Alberta one of the most popular resorts is Lake Louise which offers spectacular scenery and the largest ski area in Canada. Lake Louise has stunning views of the Rockies and great skiing for all levels of skier with virtually guaranteed snow from mid-November to mid-May. Lake Louise village is small but is the perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes with plenty of atmosphere.
